Position Summary
Work You’ll Do
As a Senior Consultant on the project, you will:
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering and business analysis for health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, disability).
- Translate client needs into clear business requirements, end-to-end process maps, and configuration-ready functional specifications.
- Define and document benefits eligibility rules, enrollment logic, Qualified Life Events (QLEs), and payroll deduction rules (pre-/post-tax) for accurate system setup.
- Design future-state workflows that align business processes to BenefitsIQ product capabilities, minimizing customizations.
- Support payroll and carrier reconciliation by validating enrollment and deduction outcomes and resolving variances.
- Collaborate with Product (BenefitsIQ), UI/UX, and Technology teams to align screen behavior, rules-engine logic, and integration requirements.
- Validate configurations through structured test scenarios (positive/negative) and data reconciliation, and drive standardization/productization over one-off solutions.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6+ years of experience delivering benefits plans for clients in roles such as a product manager, benefits operations manager, benefits analysts, benefits administration, business analysis etc.
- 3 + years of experience with benefits platforms such as Workday, SAP, ADP, or Similar platforms.
- 2+ years of experience creating business process maps for current and future state environments.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel 0-50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Prior experience supporting Federal, State, or Local benefits products preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Large employer environments strongly perferred.
- Familiarity with: FEHB, PSHB, and ACA compliance perferred.
