Role Description

We’re looking for an International Payroll Analyst to help deliver that experience across our EMEA and APAC entities while helping us scale and strengthen international payroll operations.
In this role, you’ll be a key part of our international payroll operations, helping ensure employees across multiple countries are paid accurately, on time, and in compliance with local requirements. But this role is about more than processing payroll — it’s about bringing rigor, partnership, and continuous improvement to a function that touches every employee, every month.
You’ll work across a broad set of impact areas, including monthly payroll execution, payroll accounting, employee support, statutory reporting, audits, and process improvement. You’ll partner closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to keep operations running smoothly, strengthen controls, and improve how international payroll is delivered at scale.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end monthly payroll processing across Dropbox’s EMEA and APAC entities, partnering with internal stakeholders and external payroll providers to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant payroll delivery

Prepare and validate payroll inputs, review payroll outputs, and help resolve issues before final sign-off to maintain a strong control environment

Support payroll funding and post-payroll activities, including journal preparation, accruals, cross-charge entries, and other payroll accounting deliverables

Respond to employee payroll questions and prepare supporting documentation such as salary certificates and other payroll-related correspondence

Assist with statutory and regulatory obligations, including local payroll submissions, year-end reporting, and other compliance-related activities

Support payroll reconciliations, audit requests, financial statement support, and internal control documentation

Contribute to process improvements, automation efforts, and operational enhancements that help scale and strengthen international payroll operations
Requirements

5+ years of experience in payroll, finance operations, accounting operations, or a related field supporting multiple countries, entities, or complex payroll environments

Experience supporting recurring payroll cycles with a strong understanding of payroll inputs, validations, reviews, and post-payroll activities

Working knowledge of payroll accounting, including journals, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close support

Familiarity with payroll controls, compliance requirements, audit support, and process documentation in an international environment

Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies through automation, standardization, and streamlined payroll workflows

Strong attention to detail and a high bar for accuracy when working with sensitive and time-critical data

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external payroll providers and cross-functional partners
Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting international payroll across EMEA and/or APAC entities

Knowledge of year-end payroll reporting requirements and statutory submissions in one or more countries

Experience in a public company environment with exposure to SOX controls or audit requirements

Experience using payroll systems, ERP platforms, or reporting tools to support payroll operations and reconciliations

Experience supporting payroll in a fast-paced, high-growth, or multinational environment
Compensation
Ireland Pay Range
€61.600—€83.400 EUR
Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
