Duration: 6-month parental leave coverage, with potential for extension
Time Commitment: Part-time, flexible scheduling
Compensation: $3,900 per month for 20 hours per week (part-time contract)
The Company
This is a remote-first, Toronto-based technology company with a strong product-led culture and a collaborative, high-trust environment. They’re looking for a strong interim partner to support both full-cycle recruitment and broader People Experience / culture work during a parental leave coverage period.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning hiring end-to-end while also contributing across employee experience, internal programming, and people operations in a lean, thoughtful environment.
The Opportunity
They’re looking for a Recruitment & People Experience Partner to step into a hybrid role that blends recruitment leadership with hands-on People & Culture support.
On the recruitment side, this person will lead hiring across multiple functions and partner closely with leaders to drive an efficient, high-quality process from intake through offer.
On the People Experience side, this person will help support internal events, connection-focused programming, and some day-to-day people operations that contribute to a strong employee experience.
This is a strong fit for someone who is equally comfortable:
-
owning full-cycle recruiting
-
acting as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders
-
rolling up their sleeves on events, logistics, and employee experience work
-
operating independently in a lean, high-trust environment
What They Need Help With

Lead full-cycle recruitment across multiple business units, from intake through offer stage
-
Partner closely with hiring managers on role scoping, search strategy, process design, and market calibration
-
Proactively source and engage talent through a mix of LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, outbound sourcing, and other creative channels
-
Manage the end-to-end candidate experience, including interviews, assessments, debriefs, and offer coordination
-
Use modern recruiting tools (including AI-enabled workflows where appropriate) to improve efficiency and execution while maintaining a strong human-centered candidate experience
People Experience / Operations
-
Support and execute internal employee events and programming (virtual and in-person), including planning, logistics, budgeting, vendor coordination, and on-site support where needed
-
Help design and deliver programming focused on connection, wellness, belonging, and learning
-
Partner with internal employee groups / committees to support culture-building and engagement initiatives
-
Provide hands-on support for light workplace operations and office coordination as needed (supplies, catering, vendors, logistics)
-
Support broader People & Culture programs to help maintain a strong, thoughtful employee experience across the business
What They’re Looking For
-
5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, ideally within a tech environment
-
Strong experience supporting a mix of technical and/or business hiring
-
Proven ability to build trusted relationships with leaders and operate as a consultative talent partner
-
Strong operational and project management skills, especially around events, logistics, and employee experience initiatives
-
Comfortable using modern recruiting tools and systems to improve process efficiency and execution
-
Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities with minimal oversight
-
Someone who enjoys a role that blends recruiting + people experience / culture work
-
GTA-based preferred, given occasional in-person support needs
Working Model / Additional Context
-
Remote-first
-
Preference for candidates located in the Greater Toronto Area
-
While there is no weekly in-office requirement, the team would ideally like GTA-based team members to be in person 1–2 times per month
-
For this role specifically, it would be helpful if this person can occasionally be present for connection days, internal events, and people experience programming, including some light support with event setup and on-site coordination as needed
