The portfolio may include roles across Engineering, Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, People and other corporate functions, with a particular focus on mid-level and senior hiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit across both technical and non-technical functions.

  • Support mid-level and senior hiring across a variety of business areas.

  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for active and upcoming roles.

  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience throughout the process.

Sourcing & Talent Identification

  • Develop proactive sourcing strategies for both technical and non-technical roles.

  • Identify and engage passive candidates across relevant talent markets.

  • Use a mix of LinkedIn, referrals, communities and other sourcing channels to build qualified pipelines.

  • Adapt sourcing approaches based on role complexity, seniority and market conditions.

Hiring Partnership

  • Partner closely with hiring managers to clarify profiles, hiring priorities and assessment criteria.

  • Conduct recruiter screens and provide clear candidate recommendations.

  • Advise hiring managers on talent availability, market conditions and search strategy.

  • Provide regular, concise updates on pipeline health and search progress.

Recruitment Operations

  • Maintain accurate candidate and hiring information within the ATS.

  • Manage multiple searches and priorities independently.

  • Support consistent interview processes and recruiting workflows.

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and candidate flow where appropriate.

Required Qualifications

  • Approximately 8+ years of recruitment experience, ideally within high-growth or technology environments.

  • Strong full-cycle recruiting experience, from intake through offer.

  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across both technical and non-technical functions.

  • Experience hiring mid-level and senior roles.

  • Strong proactive sourcing capabilities and ability to build pipelines independently.

  • Comfortable managing multiple searches simultaneously.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Able to get up to speed quickly and operate with limited oversight.

  • Based in Canada and able to work remotely.

  • Available to begin in the near term.

  • Experience working with Ashby a plus
